Sr. Marie Francine Campbell, a 2025 Jubilarian celebrating an extraordinary 70 years of religious life, has touched countless lives through her dedication to education and guidance. She began her ministry as a teacher, but it was in her 24 years as a guidance counselor at St. Maria Goretti High School in Philadelphia that she truly left an indelible mark.

With a heart full of compassion, Sr. Marie Francine created a safe and welcoming space where students could share their dreams, fears, and uncertainties. She walked beside them as they navigated academic choices, career aspirations, and the challenges of young adulthood. Whether helping them select the right courses, explore career paths, or apply to colleges and trade programs, she was a steady and loving presence. Beyond academics, she was a guiding light in their social and emotional development, offering wisdom, support, and encouragement at every step.

Reflecting on her journey, Sr. Marie Francine once wrote, “My journey as a religious has been rich and varied in the services God asked of me.” This profound sense of purpose is evident in every aspect of her life. Her deep relationship with God is reflected in her unwavering commitment to serving others, always seeking ways to uplift and nurture those entrusted to her care.

As she celebrates this milestone, we honor Sr. Marie Francine for her lifetime of selfless service, her boundless love for her students, and the countless ways she has shaped the hearts and minds of those blessed to know her.
