Pray, Seek, Share Peace
The Dominican Sisters of Peace are involved in active, service-oriented ministry. We have Sisters who work to end racism, hunger, human trafficking, and who help the homeless and minister to refugees—we preach through our work. It’s important for women who are considering entering our Congregation to immerse themselves not only in the Gospel, but also in the mission of helping others.
This summer, we are welcoming women who are discerning their call to religious life to our “Mission for Peace” days.
You might wonder what such a mission experience entails, so here’s a brief outline of what you can expect:
- We will meet three times via Zoom on these Sundays: June 13, July 18, and August 15 from 2-5pm EDT
- Sessions will include praying together and offering a theological reflection in the light of our Dominican mission of serving the needs of our time.
- Between sessions, participants will be invited to serve their community locally or to volunteer to meet a current need in their area.
- We will come together to pray together and to share about what we discover about God’s presence and about the mission experience.
If you are interested in this program, please contact Sr. Bea Tiboldi at Bea.Tiboldi@oppeace.org or call/text her at 614-400-1255.
We look forward to hearing from you and sharing this experience with you.
Peace and blessings,
