The coronavirus pandemic has affected people of all walks of life, but with no safe, secure place to call home, the homeless population has especially felt the gravity of our current reality. In an effort to support those in need in our local community and take one worry off their plates, the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph, MN, have been supplying meals two times a week to the homeless population who are currently residing at the Rodeway Inn in St. Joseph. Thank you to our wonderful food service department who has been careful and compassionate in preparing these meals for distribution.

LCWR Region 4 has issued a challenge to all LCWR regions and members to mark Catholic Sisters Week 2021 with collaborative efforts to serve persons in need and bring much needed awareness to the current increase in food insecurity. Read more.
