Mission
Mission Statement : Inspired by the words and example of our Founder, St. Alfonso Maria Fusco, we the Sisters of St. Jon the Baptist strive to “BE JESUS” for those with whom we live in Community and for all of God’s people. We strive to fulfill this mission by:
- “preparing the way of the Lord” among the people of our times in the spirit of John the Baptist
- our intimate relationship with Jesus of Nazareth through personal and communal prayer
- our unlimited trust in Divine Providence
- the witness of our vowed life and community living
- manifesting God’s mercy to all whom we serve by the warmth of our love and compassion thus affirming the worth and dignity of each person.
